I have never been a skinny mini, never have been and I don’t think I ever will be. I don’t work hard… ok I don’t work at all to watch my weight. It’s not that I’m plowing through huge amounts of food, it’s just not the smartest choices and I’ve never been very active. Now that I work at home, I’ve noticed the few good habits I did have, like walking outside at lunch or drinking lots of water is shot to heck too.
Now to top it all off, I’m getting older the 40 mark gets closer and closer and I know it’s just going to get harder and harder to shed these unwanted pounds. Can I sound anymore depressing? I’m sure I could but I won’t try – cause I’m hoping I just found some inspiration to turn things around… or shall we say Cinchspiration.
Shaklee announced they were looking for 50 bloggers to be sponsors for their Cinch program. I’ve followed Sommer of Green & Clean Mom as she’s worked the program and she’s transformed into one sexy mama! With so many other amazing success stories, I threw my hat in the ring along with many other wonderful bloggers – over 250 actually – and woohoo I’m part of the Cinchpiration Team! Over the next 6 months I will be provided with products and support from Shaklee, support of the other 49 bloggers on this trip with me, and you – my readers – will hold me accountable. That’s right, as part of the team I am responsible for posting my progress via my blog, social networks, video and more. So, no hiding behind my 2009 profile picture. I have to come out of hiding and work hard to turn this flab into fab. There’s some pretty awesome prizes up for grabs too! A chance to win a $2,500 Macy’s gift card, an all-expense paid trip, $10,000 in cash – so, that’s some nice incentive too!
I don’t want to let you down, I don’t want to let me down. I’m looking forward to great results and I can’t wait to share. I find this so fitting for my readers since although my business and blog encourages virtual business, it comes with the pitfalls of working, living and playing in one place. This can become a challenge for your health and weight, as I have let it become. With this opportunity and a beautiful veggie garden in my front yard, this can become a whole new wonderful opportunity.
Wish me luck!
Disclaimer: As part of the Cinchspiration Team I will be given Cinch products to test and review free of charge. However, results and opinions are always my own.
